Oh dear- another not-very-good photo, but one which demonstrates another of Beijing's environmental phenomena. Apparently when one of our friends first came to Beijing and witnessed 'The Fluff', she genuinely thought that a puffa jacket factory had exploded. Turns out that it is just pollen- but my goodness, I have never seen so much of the stuff! Today was a little like a blizzard at school, with mounds of it in corners (now going soggy in the rain). Must be a nightmare for hayfever sufferers...
