Went for an early morning cycle before the rain comes.

Last week on a cycle I stopped to take pictures of some trees that had been felled and left to rot at the side of the path. I found this fungus growing on the logs and took some shots of it much to the amusement of another cyclist and a jogger with her dog. I think they got curious when they saw my bike abandoned at the edge of the path.

It is very small but the bright red really catches your eye when you get up close. Although I didn't blip it that day I was pretty sure I would go back and today was just that day.

I guess an unusual subject for a blip but I do think very eyecatching.
