Friends

We had friends spend the day at the lake house with us. We have known Pam and Ralph for twenty years, at least. We have worked with them on projects, we have worked for them on projects, and they have worked for us on projects. We have always been business friends. In the last couple of years, while we have been struggling financially, they have both faced serious medical emergencies and the emotional trauma that goes hand in hand with that. They are striving to get past these hard times as we are doing with ours. This is only the third time in all these years that we have gotten together in anything but a business situation, although we have always liked each other. We had a great day and finally got to really "know" each other. They had some amazing stories. I took other pictures this weekend - including the lake through my Mother's Day flowers.
