What's a Bus Doing Here?

Our neighbor, J, -- the one who brought the red and blue trucks home -- had this interesting vehicle parked in front of his house today. When I saw him standing outside, I just had to go ask him about it.

J's brother is a navy pilot based on Whidbey Island, and the bus is jointly owned by the members of his squadron. The odd names painted on the side are the radio call signs of the pilots. J is looking after the bus while the squadron is deployed, though he doesn't keep it here -- he was using it to take friends and family for a ride. Some of the neighborhood kids enjoyed exiting through the rear emergency door this afternoon.

I thanked J for providing me yet another blip. I've blipped his kids a couple of times.
