The Green Green Grass of Home

Left our friends in West Otago this morning.
Another very grey foggy sort of day.

Stopped to take this picture. It is the farm where I had been brought up in South Otago.
I moved to Christchurch when I was 19, and whenever I travelled home it felt like we were home when we saw the green rolling downs. Especially when Canterbury was known for being very flat, and dry and a lot more cropping, so a different scene all together.

Mother is not the best, but have spoken with the Doctor, and everyone doing as much as they can at this stage. It is the anti biotics which are making her so uncomfortable.
