Calpis vs Calpico

For some reason, the Japanese drink Calpis is known as Calpico in the US. I assume it's because of the "piss" association, Americans don't want to drink that. But they still put Calpis on the side of the bottle.

In the US, there are many flavors of Calpico, like mango and lychee. I was surprised to find that Japan doesn't have those, only the original flavor!
