The Gift

Mr Fluff sitting peacefully by a blue tit that he had proudly wanted to present to us as his gift.

Having been refused entry to the house with the gift clamped in his jaws he decided to park himself, and the gift, at the bottom of the garden until we came to our senses and remembered what a clever cat he was and how grateful we should be to him for the frequent offerings he - and his brothers - presented to us. At least this gift was dead when he brought it home.

I had hoped to be able to post something quite lovely, as I saw some amazing stilt-theatre in Chapelfield Gardens this afternoon. Try as I might I didn't capture anything that was good enough to post as the performers were - as is sometimes the case - a bugger to photograph.
