Full to Bursting

Mountain bike race in the Colne Valley this morning - C reckons I trundled home in around 30th, which out of a field of 317 ain't too shabby, particularly as I felt I had a fair bit "left in the tank" and I managed to wipe out about half way round...oops!

A bit of trundling around this afternoon to pick up stuff ahead of F's school residential week and then a chilled afternoon and evening, cooking dinner and making blueberry pies. :-)

C now bundled up in PJs and cuddling a hot water bottle, whilst I tap out this eve's Blip. Damn those pesky bugs! She is feeling a bit better, which is good. It's a rubbish feeling when someone you love is ill and you know there's not a not lot that you can do to help. Tonight's Blip pic did manage to raise a smile. Very apt!
