A very satisfactory day at the football! Although Dunfermline won the league last week, there was still the small matter of the last game of the season, against our fiercest rivals, followed by the presentation of the trophy.
It was quite an easy win, in the end, with the Pars hardly having to break sweat, and passing the ball around with consummate ease :)
News also came through after the game that Dundee had been beaten...they had been punished for idiotic financial mismanagement by a points deduction, but if they had won today, their fans would have tried to argue that Dundee were the better team, in theory.
Not any more :)
The celebration in the club bar was also memorable for seeing my nephew actually doing the old looking-at-his-watch-with-a drink-in-his-hand in real life. Priceless!
