Evening Walk up the River

The wet horrible weather up till about 6pm did not inspire me to go on a blip hunt today. So went for a walk up the river in the late evening sunshine. The light is beautiful at this time of day.

In the picture is a very interesting house. When I first noticed it in December it was a ruined old barn. The kind you walk past and think "Why doesn't somebody make that into a gorgeous house?" Well somebody has done just that! It has been beautifully renovated retaining all the old features and with modern additions that are totally in keeping with the period. You can just see it peeping through the trees. I'll blip a close-up view when it is complete. It is lovely to see an old building come back to life.
