A happy looking family on the beach at Bournemouth this lunchtime. My weekend away was a conference on the cross-Channel Neolithic and I thoroughly enjoyed it - learned lots, took lots of notes...and bought lots of books.

I'm back home now and planning a quiet evening in front of the TV with the dogs. Bliss. Incidentally, it's amazing how green the grass is now compared to a couple of days ago. I rather like this rain overnight/sunshine during the day climate - can we keep it please?
