It's hard to imagine that swans can do anything ungracefully, with their long slender necks and snowey white feathers. But they do NOT look graceful when flapping up and down Blackford pond! This swan was chasing a goose, it was all going on in Blackford this afternoon.

I had a lovely afternoon, getting slightly lost in the woods. But i didn't have to be anywhere anytime soon, so i was quite happy to just get lost. It seems a shame to have a black and white photo, because everything was so green. But this photo was a bit blury, and let's be honest, everything looks better in B&W!
