The Breamore shuffle
So yesterday I walked 60km and overnight my legs aged 60 years. Stairs are quite hilarious. Having Betty though, means I had to walk again today, so we shuffled around Breamore House. Beautiful parkland and rich brick buildings make it a lovely place to wander on a sunny sunday.
Yesterday was amazing - great camaraderie, glorious views and generally perfect weather. 12hrs 30mins of putting one foot in front of the other. It was especially poignant for me as we started and finished at Goodwood racecourse, where nearly four years ago I scattered my dad's ashes. So although a very tough challenge I never felt alone.
Happy Sunday - and never have I wished more for a three day weekend to recover!
