Shags on a beach

A slow start today. Got up very late indeed. Thank you, Pio and Cousteau for letting mummy snooze on Mothers' Day.

A quick lunch with B and then off out for a dog walk with JL and her mum.

We had a lovely walk on the beach. We had four dogs with us. They all behaved themselves beautifully.

They were keen to go and check out these shags, all lined up on the other side of a swift flowing outlet. Fortunately, common sense (yes, Vizslas do have a little!) and JL and me distracting them, meant that they avoided the current. I was worried they would be swept out to sea if they slipped in.

The light was really wonderful.

We grabbed a quick takeout coffee on the way home and then B and I headed into town for Mass.

Swung by Rae's place on the way home.

Just had tea and chatting on Skype.

Early to bed tonight. I like bed. Night all.
