Preparing the wicket

After a night and morning of thunder and lightning storms the rain stopped, the covers were off and the wicket was being prepared. On the way back from walking the dog the covers were back on again. They did get to play cricket though as it turned out a warm and dry day - mostly.

As you can tell by the tree it's a windy place for cricket.
