Diamonds and Rust

I was up at 5.30 am and intended to spend the day gardening. But the light was so good this morning I just had to get out with the camera. I walked over to the nearby horsefield and got some shots of the horses I was quite please with. And also spotted this wonderful rust fungus on Allium vineale (wild onion) on the way. Then down onto the beach for some more shots.

Later a friend told me a Welsh book fair was on today at the Morlan Centre, so I just HAD to get down there. I bought 3 volumes in the series Atgofion Ceredigion - memoirs of the lives of "ordinary" people in Ceredigion in th early 20th century.

Lunch with wonderful fresh bread from The Treehouse and then finally into the garden. This evening walked along th prom and back and then up Consti to catch the sunset
