Da-da-da-da-da!

She is crawling now, with one foot on the floor to push herself along faster. She'd really like to stand up, but can't quite manage it.

We are buying safety catches for all the kitchen cabinets! I had forgotten about those, but luckily "Pappy" (my husband) remembered. We are learning all over again, and a lot has changed since we raised kids.

Today I dropped a magazine and she said "I get it!" And then, she did. Seriously, she did! The words were a bit slurred, but that is what they were.

Not bad for only 8 months old...
