Lunch

After a couple of exhausting days of bad migraines and long train travel I was delighted to be feeling more clear headed today and free for a day of whatever took my mood. I headed into town and in the end what took my mood was a leisurely late lunch with my youngest sister ay my favourite spanish tapas restuarant. Somehow life is always so busy and we don't find the time to do this as often as we like so it was wonderfully relaxing just to sit over tapas and and a bottle of red wine for a couple of hours and chat and catch up.

Of course after the wine I wasn't in the mood for going out and taking any more photos - all I wanted t do was come home and have a wee sleep - so this one is the best I've managed today (and it's not the best cos I'd already had some wine when I took it!) but that's ok because it's a reminder of a very pleasant and fun afternoon.

Now of course that I'm home I'm thinking I'd like some more wine but I've got to be up early for one of my friends daughter's holy communion in the morning - but then that's hours away so maybe a little more wouldn't harm me - after all it is Saturday :)

'To the outside world we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time. '
