And my brood grows.......

Well, today I taught two classes for the morning session as their teacher was supervising exams, This I must admitt was a little nerve-wrakking! I think there were 32 in the class with varying levels of english ranging in age from 7-10. Despite this- we actually had a very productive morning that went suprisingly well! They had never heard/understood about shapes before, they knew roughly which body parts were which and only really how to spell the numbers 1-10. After we'd all written down the spellings and gone through the body parts/shapes etc- they absolutely LOVED doing a big wordsearch that I drew on the board, and picked it up really quickly. A game of "spellings of numbers" bingo went down far too well, as did pictionary. I wish school was that much fun when I was there!! hehe.
