What IS this stuff?

Today I did an odd thing. I hung out of the window for 10 minutes, trying to take photos of the rain. It didn't work, I think it's too fine. So you get this instead.

It has been a while since it rained. A few drops yesterday, then a lot in the early morning - but I was in bed, and asleep for all but the last 5 minutes! We've just had a shower, but it's so dry we need a lot more....

Something I forgot yesterday - concerning news for those in and around Dundee. Last summer we had an inavsion of greenfly, for months on end - I've never seen it so bad! Well, if yesterday's walk was anything to go by, better get ready for greenfly clouds until September, all over again....
