brushed off..... old & new 5

some things can be brushed off....others can't so easily...

the combs in the botton pic are from the late 1800's and were used by my husbands granddad, who was a painter & decorator... the combs were used to make paint look like wood...... don't ask me how though.... but I've seen the effect of it in an old chapel we used to be part of.... it looks like fake wood.....

the top one I use to make patterns in paint today......
