It's my Birthday!

Hello, today I am 24. Can't feel the difference yet, but the day has been very pleasant so far. I got up at a leisurely hour, had some pleasant dreams, although I can't remember then well, but I know I was enjoying my slumber. And it's always nice when you start coming out of that deep sleep and you have a fluffy orange cat named crookshanks laying on your stomach. I decided not to work today, it being my birthday and all. I had some earl grey while taking a hot bath, took the beast on a walk, and then headed to New Braunfels to pick up my friend Jessica. We went to Landa Park and fed the ducks, which were ravenous I might add. We were trying to eat peacefully and the geese all came up not even a foot away from us and were so persistent that they started hissing. I'll admit I was a bit brightened because the geese outnumbered us by far and they have very strong beaks! Luckily I brought a lot of stale crackers, bread, and pretzels which they fought over. The mean grandaddy goose bit Jessica's butt and went at her foot several times. It was really funny. This duck is a very interesting fellow; he was probably the cutest there. Isn't he darling with his rainbow beak? Oh, and after the park, Jessica and I went to see a really cool loft building in New Braunfels that used to be a power plant; I really wouldn't mind living there. I'm having friends over this evening, which should be a good time.
