Inchworm - Musical May

Spotted this munching away on one of the leaves on my Cherry Plum tree this evening. Okay, technically I don't think it is actually an Inchworm but it wouldn't work for my musical may if I referred to it as a Lepidoptera or something!? ;)

I actually have no idea what species it is so any proper ID's would be welcome!!
