Blue and Green

I was intending to catch this shot before the light faded but was distracted by BE showing me his latest bunch of beauties from the races. If you haven't seen them, check them out here!

"There's no light left," says he. "Wack up the ISO." I searched and found the right button and it seemed to work, but I needed to put the camera on the deck to avoid blur. As it turned out, I quite like the effect.

Why green and blue?

Sad person that I am, I was surprised but delighted by the arrival of a Blue Bin at my humble door yesterday. I had ordered this online a couple of weeks ago, having a fairly cynical view that it would never turn up, or if it did, be hijacked by a neighbouring local before I could get home from work. I should perhaps point out that I like and trust my neighbours, but our bins are kept at the bottom of our shared drive in a fenced area, and how would they know whose it was? But, there it was, snuggled next to the veg box right outside the door yesterday when I got home from school.
So, I now feel even greener, needing no longer to drive to the recycling centre myself. And I will share said bin with said neighbours, as we have just the one between us.
