Old Ruins

I visited this old ruined church today. I have been trying to find it for some time and finally got some directions. It's an amazing place, it must have been ruined for hundreds of years because there is a huge oak growing the middle of it. It was very strange to stand in the middle of somewhere that was obviously a place of community and worship many generations ago and yet it has no roof and has been taken back by Mother Nature. It has a lovely feel to it, not eerie at all but I bet it would feel very different at night. There are no signs if there was a churchyard attached to it because it is surrounded by trees. I would love to know the history of the place.
