A Loss in the Family

C's younger sister, Evelyn, died suddenly yesterday at her home in North Carolina.

C asked me to blip this little shrine she made on the kitchen counter, knowing she would be spending most of today preparing food for a friend who is ill. There's a rosemary sprig from our yard for remembrance amongst the sage leaves she is using in one of the recipes.
