Memories .............

My father had a Cooper when I was a kid - but it had sliding windows (not wind down) and wire handles (on the inside).

My first car was a Mini which I fitted with huge spotlights and a 9" steering wheel.

SWMBO had one of these garish orange ones which I dropped a 1275cc engine into with twin racing carbs and a huge straight through exhaust.
It went like sh1t off a shovel and could fire a massive flame out of the exhaust at will - which was great at scaring the Golf GTi drivers who thought they were the bees knees.

Ahh..... the memories

Looked after the Cygnet this afternoon whilst daughter went in to work to see what they proposed for her going back to work.
She came back in tears.
They basically said "the shifts you did before getting pregnant - or 3 days a week doing 12 hours" ......... all 6am starts (as was her original).
NOT suitable for trying to get childcare.
They also want to know by Wednesday what her choice is ...........after she has been trying to get things sorted since November and them failing to comply with all legal timescales etc?
No chance.

Looks like an unfair dismissal claim is coming on.
