Couldnt get out of bed! should have stayed in bed!

Took a days holiday today and the plan was to goto NYMR as i think a friday will be less busy than a weekend.
Don't know why but i feel i need to be there early, probably summit to do with not wanting to the rely on and miss the last train.
Anyhoo needed to leave the house at 8am but actually never even got out of bed till 8:30am.
So decided to head up the northumberland coast.
Arrived at Druridge bay in peeing rain!!
Sat in the car for 40 mins to let it pass but ended up at 11:30 going to amble for fish and chips.
From amble took this shot of Walkworth castle.
Grew up with a caravan at walkworth in the 80's so it's one of my favourite places, favourite castle and beach. Happy memories of childhood and all that!!

Weather started to clear so headed back to druridge.
Got a few shots from the beach which a liked but i think this one has more interest.

We were strangley tired so at 2:30pm started to head home just as the weather got really nice and warm!! so should have stayed in bed for an extra couple of hours to arrive in the good weather.

Stopped off to pick billy up and sat in the outlaws garden snapped red kites.
none of mine were that good, but i think claire got some decent ones.
