Flower Fireworks

I just love taking macro shots of dandelions, especially when they start losing some of their seeds. The fluffy end of the seed in this shot and the way they catch the light makes me think of fireworks. Well, it does.

The day was so gray all day, that there was not much to blip. I didn't have time to look for flowers in my neighborhood. It is a great time of year for flower shots though.

My husband and I are getting ready to go out of town tomorrow, so I have lots to do tonight.
