Light Rail Beautification

From my aunties place we head over to Gresham, OR to do errands. We have passed by this on going project a few times, and today I was ready. We stopped at the red light, and I was able to get off a few quick shots of this. They (whoever that is) have been working on this MAX light rail stop for a while now (re-doing, remodeling, reorganizing), and then these wild decorations went up. I was fascinated. Auntie and I speculated that it must be a nod to Hispanic culture, since there are many Hispanics living in this area. Other than that idea, we haven't a clue. But, it certainly is attention getting.
