american cranberry
yup a flower...
named after a fruit. who knew... and why i ask is that? there is no red, per se... i did see a very tiny hint of blush on some of the blossoms... but enough to call it cranberry? ummmm... maybe not. and why american? why not europe or scandinavian? or african cranberry? are cranberries only grown on american soil? perhaps i should've done some research before asking these questions... i just found it funny - and with most things - caught myself giggling there in the garden... surrounded by insects and squirrels and birds and geese honking in the background...
and a flower that i actually know the name of.... but only because they had a little marker for it in the ground! how cool is that?
happy day.....
