Pavey Ark and Stickle Tarn
On Monday a quick walk up and down Stickle Ghyll. I used a really wide lens to get Pavey Ark in and to give a wide depth of field. A side effect of this is that the image does not convey the size of the front face of Pavey Ark. It is vey big. Towards the bottom of the middle of the face there a people climbing up, they're hardly visible. The diagonal line from bottom right to top left is Jake's Rake, a popular route for those with a head for heights.
The path up Stickle Ghyll is not very dog-friendly. On some of the bigger steps we had to adopt a pull and push approach to get Tosh up.
