Sunrise in Extremadura

My husband and I are not early risers, not since we retired. Sunrises are seen when we need to get to an airport.

This morning at 6.55 am the sound of buckets, tools, wheelbarrows and workmen's voices woke us. At 7 am on the dot a hammering at our door. The workmen had arrived to start resurfacing the walls of the downstairs rooms. It will be like this for quite a few days.

Once showered, I took a look out the front window, just to see what the weather was like and then made a grab for the camera. A stunning sunrise. My first caught on camera. Two firsts in two days! Not bad.
