Lucca and Pisa

We decided to return our rental car early. It was 30 Euros a night to park at our hotel and we found it easier to just take the train to many of the most accessible towns. On this day we took a morning train to Lucca, we rented bikes and rode around the walled city. We spent time wandering the streets and had lunch. Then a quick train over to Pisa to see the leaning tower, we walked through town and didn't find much so we headed back to florence.

This is not the bike we rode in Lucca, but one of many parked on the streets as it is the main mode of transportation. This is was one of my favorite days.
