Disco plants

After our hot air ballooning was cancelled again (this time due to high winds), Amy and I found ourselves with an unexpected free day. We popped out and picked a few essentials up (which unfortunately meant heading into Stockton) and then spent the rest of the day mooching about in the garden. This included a good hour just laid on the grass in the sun which was absolute bliss.

Amy chose the grape hyacinths from the farm shop yesterday she loves the colour and the shape of them. I also think they?re quite pretty. It was late on by the time I realised that with all the work (and sleeping on the grass) I didn?t have a blip, so I went out into the garden as the sun was going down. I got a few good blips of the plants, but I particularly like the out of focus and almost fluorescent colours of this one. I was trying to shoot without the flash, but the wind was blowing the plants about, hence the slightly out of focus shot.

Back to werk tomorrow. Busy week this week, Eaglescliffe for a couple of days, car service, trip to Londres and back to Eaglescliffe. I FREEKING LOVE IT!
