Innocent, Memorable faces of Cusco

Good Friday in Cusco, the Archaeological Capital of the Americas. We stopped over in Cusco multiple times during our trip where they would have daily processions for the holy week. We had the opportunity to watch the night procession on Good Friday which brought out thousands of locals- participating in the procession, eating cotton candy & popcorn, going to mass holding crosses made of flowers and leaves, and hanging out in the main square. It was a very nice joyous religious festival. Interestingly so, instead of fasting on Good Friday the Peruvians celebrate with a traditional meal of 12 plates of food commemorating the 12 apostles at the Last Supper.

1. As we finished our breakfast at the famous Jack's cafe we noticed this adorable little girl who probably dislocated her hip at a very young age. Unable to crawl she would glide in a seated position. Broke our hearts.

2. The cute boy just playing around in his mothers store.

3. The little prankster who would sneak around and do naughty things.

4. Precious girl whose mimicking of her mom's sentences made the sale! She would also point to every item in her mother's display and repeat, "I want to buy this and this and this and this and this...."
