False Lavender

My friend gave me this flower last fall--it has lived in my south-facing window all winter. It is now blooming wonderfully--I can hardly close the curtains.

It has been sunny all day--is currently 72 degrees outside! I have given my flower gardens and raspberries a drink today--it is amazing how the plants perk up after a good soaking.
