Spent the day at Mum and Dads watching the Royal Wedding, having our own mini street party (come-dining-room-one), waving union jacks and re-blu-tac-ing the bunting every hour. I'm a bit uninterested in the whole royal doodah thing but mum loves it all and, if I'm totally honest, I've got many happy memories of street parties from my childhood so wanted little A to experience at least something before the fashion of being anti-monarchist totally takes the country over and possibly gets in the way of a similar celebration happening ever again.

Think Taids legride in a Banbury-Cross stylee came out trumps for the day though, judging by all those jigglegiggles...
