Third Time Lucky?

Today marks the beginning of week three without a laptop charger. While it is a mild annoyance [to others more than myself] to use other people's computers to upload a blip [hence the reason for my scatty uploading recently], I have a little secret:

It's quite nice not to have access to my laptop all the time. It's such an automatic thing for all of us now, to come into the familiar warmth of our sunny flats, and press the familiar power button that sends our technological lives whirring into action. And with a few clicks, our lives are laid bare to all who wish to see. Facebook, twitter, blipfoto, youtube, myspace, flickr, blogspot, tumblr. Sometimes, I just feel a little bit too visible.

So call this my technological hibernation, if you will.

Don't worry though. When the bright sunshine of my amazon delivery appears through my letterbox I will undoubtedly be back on my usual regular attendance. Or maybe I will have weaned myself off slightly. Maybe I'll have a real conversation with a real person?

Who knows.
