how cute is this?

So, this ickle baby bird was sitting in our compost heap (the same place that we spotted the slow-worm last week) troughing on an old apple. Her sister was sitting on the wall of the compost heap watching on. They've both been flying a bit round the garden all day, so we're obviously the local flying school. Nice.
