bird on a wire

well, technically it's on a ceramic insulator, but that doesn't have the same ring - however bird on a ceramic insulator would have made a better title for that awful film!

I was sitting in the sun on Milton Keynes station waiting for the train north, watching a hovering bird of prey. Something vaguely in my mind said it's a kestrel as I think I remember Bill Oddie saying that it is only a kestrel that hovers in one spot. Then it settled on the top of the pole so I took out my camera and blipped. Not spectacular image but the only one I took today.
