Droplets on a dandelion clock
I saw a dandelion clock covered in water droplets a couple of days ago on Barking's blip and was so impressed with it that I thought I'd have a go myself. I hope you take that as a compliment Barking! Mine didn't come out quite as well and I wet my lens, but I'm happy with the results. It's better than my other photos today anyway! I bought some fat balls and a bird feeder today because I am determined to get some decent bird blips like Camby. I sat and waited...and waited...not a dicky bird (!) as they say. Oh well - maybe tomorrow???
I spent part of this morning on another school visit. After that I came home and spent a couple of hours working through some of the reading for my photography course. I haven't learned anything new yet but I've uploaded some photos and commented on other peoples' pics. I'm quite excited about it now and can't wait to get into it a bit more. After that I popped into town and then fetched the boys from school. It was good to have the day off today to spend some time doing things for me and having a think about things. The realisation is starting to sink in that I might not ever get a teaching job! I'm trying to stay positive but it looks as though I don't have an interview for the two applications I sent off last week either and one of them at least was quite promising. On this morning's visit were about 20 other people - it's so disheartening that for every job there are about 60 other people applying - most who have more experience. I am trying to be positive and I spoke to a teacher from my old school today who was really positive about my teaching but when the knockbacks keep coming it hurts :-(
