today I've been stuck indoors, working in a windowless room in the middle of Salford. My idea of hell. I escaped for 20 minutes to enjoy some fresh air and spent much of the time looking over this piece of scrubland that will soon be turned into yet another 'commerce park' or block of lego brick apartments.

However my mood was brightened by this female kestrel who kept me company for a good ten minutes. She reminded me that nature finds a way. She is everywhere.
