RED SQUIRREL

Just loved the way his feet were splayed out, and can just imagine how they seem to fly through the air from branch to branch.

I was hoping to take photos of Capercaillie ....... but no. Even after a 4am start, we saw nothing. Though there was one out there, in a four foot dip in the heather. The remote cameras at Loch Garten could pick it up but all of us in the hide dipped. A shy Capercaillie.
