You are my sunshine

Heidi had a busy day and a late night last night, being Daddy's birthday, and she still resisted bedtime fiercely.

So I spent longer than usual sitting by her bed, her little hand holding mine, singing our bedtime song. As she finally drifted off I wished I could have captured that moment together in some way, to keep forever.

Then this morning i find myself in the unusual position of having to wake her up, giving me the chance to sneak this blip and provide me with my wished for reminder.
