Today started really early. 10 to 4 early. I was woken by the Cat Of Death yowling his heart out. What was the tragedy this time I wondered as I stumbled to find out.

As I reached the top of the stairs, I got a first whiff of what the matter was. He eats Felix and crunchies - neither of those smell wonderful but they do not reek to high heaven as this did. Full emergency measures were deployed - window opened, a couple of matches struck to disperse the bottysmog and the offending matter flushed. I think the water hissed as I dropped it in the loo.

After my eyes had stopped watering, I fed him, thought nothing more of the matter and went back to bed.

Moot was having none of that. A few more minutes of scratching and howling and I was up again. He usually calms down after I go to pat him but today, some remnant of the Poo Demon had been retained and he was in Big Eyes & Swishy Tail mode. I was too dopey to notice and when he decided to launch Operation Tearhisbloodyarmoff - I was less than pleased.

So today's Blip can be considered a blit of a Test Card. Apologies for that. And the cat? He's asleep in his usual place looking like butter wouldn't melt. And I'm feeling as sharp as a sausage. Sprachschule tonight, I may fall asleep then.
