Snow on the moor

We went to see some good friends of ours today in Gilsland. One is a colleague but she has been poorly for a while, and I haven't seen her much anyway because of being on maternity leave. Had a lovely time there. This shot was taken on the way home. It's such a beautiful day and the snow from last night was still clinging to the tufts of grass.
