Cinque Terre - Easter Sunday

A day trip from Rome, 12 hours from when we left our hotel to when we returned, but not a hard trip, just long. Train to the first of the 5 towns, a quick walk to the second, trail was closed to the third so we got back on the train. We decided to hike from the 3rd to the 4th and that was the end of the hiking. We weren't exactly prepared, but it was beautiful and worth the trek. After refueling and heading to the last town we jumped back on the train to home base of Florence (where we were for 5 nights) - dinner and wine there, gelato to follow, and like every other night CNN international (covering only two stories while we travelled - Royal Wedding, then Bin Laden).
