Wild Flowers

When I was 10 I won the school wild flower competition for collecting and naming the most wild flowers.

My grand-daughter is 11 and guesses a bluebell is a foxglove. My son thinks the song of a skylark 'might be a bluetit'

They know a whole lot more about today's world than me so ......does it matter that they don't know much about wild flowers and birds?

I kind of want it to but.....
