Emergency Preparedness Week

I feel like I'm in a state of emergency after last night's elections. The Conservatives won a coveted majority with only 40% of the popular vote. We badly need electoral reform with some proportional representation. The Liberals were put in third party status. Since Confederation they have always been first or second. The New Democratic Party is now the Official Opposition by right of their best election showing ever. On the up side, the Green Party finally got a seat and the much despised separatist Bloc Quebecois were all but eliminated.

The display here is part of Emergency Preparedness Week. I am one of our office's two Emergency Response Wardens. That means if there's trouble, I get to evict everyone to safety.
